SR PAUL LIEW is the Director of Henry Butcher Malaysia (Sabah) Sdn Bhd.

He is:

• a Member of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors United Kingdom)
• a Member of RISM (Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia)
• a Registered Valuer with The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP)

He is a property consultant with close to 30 years experience having undertaken valuation for various purposes such as banking, auctions, insurance, land acquisitions and listing requirements for submission to the Securities Commission Malaysia and Bursa Malaysia. He is also an expert witness in court proceedings in Sabah and in the Family Court of Western Australia in Perth. He has also been invited as an assessor in the courts to determine the award of compensation for compulsory land acquisitions undertaken by the government.

His extensive experience includes land & building valuations, assessment of plant & machinery valuation especially in the sawmills, plywood & veneer factories, jetties and petro-chemical depots. He has also been deeply involved in the assessment of oil palm plantations, palm oil mills and timber concessions valuations in Sabah, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Africa. His professional engagements by the corporate clients have brought him to Singapore, Hong Kong/China, Indonesia, India, Solomon Islands, Australia and Africa.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore.
