SR JAMES LO is the Director of Henry Butcher Malaysia (Sandakan) Sdn Bhd and Henry Butcher Malaysia (Sabah) Sdn Bhd.

He is:

• a Member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors United Kingdom)
• a Member of RISM (Royal Institution of Surveyors, Malaysia)
• a Registered Valuer with The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP)

He has extensive experience in property consultancy, valuation and is well-versed with the property market in Sabah, encompassing residential, commercial, vacant lands, agriculture and industrial such as factories and sawmills.

His valuation expertise was mainly undertaken for securing banking facilities, submissions to Securities Commission, compulsory acquisitions, asset valuation and corporate restructuring. He also specialises in compensation awards for landowners from compulsory acquisitions by the government. From time to time, he markets properties of high net worth individuals and corporate clients.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business majoring in Valuation & Land Economics from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia.
