SR HAW CHIN is the Director of Henry Butcher Malaysia (Muar) Sdn Bhd.

He is:

• a Member of the RISM (Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia, Property Consultant & Valuation Surveyors Section)
• a Registered Valuer & Estate Agent with The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP)

Prior to his directorship at the Muar office, he was a Director of Henry Butcher Lim & Long (Malacca) Sdn Bhd.

Before Henry Butcher Malaysia, he served as the Senior Assistant Valuation Officer in the Department of Valuation & Property Services (JPPH) under the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia, and was involved in valuation matters in Negeri Sembilan, Wilayah Persekutuan, Selangor and Melaka.

His 20-year career in the public sector involved valuation assignments related to land acquisitions, the Securities Commission, stamp duty, estate duty, Real Property Gains Tax, fire insurance, and other capital matters.
